Counting crickets, Rich white men are celebrating with each other but Fred Thompson will be the exception, Scooter is free and money will follow

I HIT THE SWEET SPOT THIS AFTERNOON WHILE HIKING THE SOUTH COVE trail at Radnor Lake. Everything went right. I suddenly felt years younger and much stronger, in spite of a 3 AM last night and 3 hours of sleep. Hopefully the changes in lifestyle are paying off....

THE JOY OF BEING A RICH WHITE MAN (two out of three for me)
SPEAKING OF PAYING OFF..... the rich white man/chicken hawk, Dick "F. Yourself" Cheney's main squeeze, rich white man/chicken hawk, Scooter Libby, has just been pardoned by another rich white man/chicken hawk, George Walker Bush. Libby, despite a superb defense team, was convicted in March of lying to authorities and obstructing justice. But he is a powerful and connected rich white man and that is what really matters. Why should such people have to worry about respecting the law? I knew that many Republicans felt that Libby should not have been prosecuted and that he did nothing wrong, and those people have the right rich white male friends to fix these problems. I also knew this day would come as no rich white man from the Bush administration will ever serve time in prison no matter what they do. I hope that this might be the spark to give some backbone, anger and action to Democrats, and that this pardon will be remembered at election time.
I think those conservative Republicans who are thrilled this afternoon will realize that they have won a battle, but will be much more likely to lose the war. [I think it's a shame that these rich white men will not celebrate with women - this is a guy thing. They needn't explain their exuberance.]

FRED THOMPSON IS VERY HAPPY that a decent man will not have to go to jail
FRED THOMPSON just stated that he is extremely happy for Scooter and that this is good for his family. Scooter's family..... I hope that Scooter Libby's children learn all there is to learn about Dad - that Dad the Lawyer lied under oath and obstructed justice. And that because Dad has such soft nice white skin and lots of money, Dad, and Dad's entire family, can live happily ever after. Dad's very nice friends will help out the family. The cost of happy ever after will be paid by Dad's nice friends. The law is a relative thing.
I think Fred Thompson, unlike many other celebratory male Republicans, will celebrate with a woman. Fred to bed.

Important Educational UPDATE - cricket clicks
Watching the ABC Evening News just now I learned that one can determine the exact air temperature (Fahrenheit) by counting the number of clicks a cricket makes in 14 seconds, and adding 38 to this number. Charles Gipson just concluded the ABC newscast by stating that it is 37 crickets in New York right now (that would be a very comfortable 75 degrees). My biggest desire right now, other than showering and shaving at 6 PM, is to count cricket clicks and educate the world about this fantastic thing.
