Four sentences from a war with Iran, Bush's Splurge and Dirge speech, a few words that Bush did not say, will the responsibility ever do more than "rest?"

I SAT IN MY HOT TUB tonight , without its gushing jets (so I could listen to his take on the mess he created in the Middle East), and listened to President Bush's speech. I am sorry that I deprived my tired muscles of vibration in hot water for as long as I did. With about 5 minutes to go, I had heard enough, got up and turned the jets on. The jets roared and drowned out the finale of his utterances of unreality. I knew that the New York Times would probably post the text of the speech before its conclusion, and I could read it now.

The closest Bush came to admitting that he did anything wrong - let alone, an apology or expression of regret or sorrow - was heard in this silly noncommittal sentence:
"Where mistakes have been made, the responsibility rests with me."
Where mistakes have been made, the responsibility rests with me!
Where mistakes have been made, the responsibility rests with me?
With him?
With President Bush?
President Bush is responsible?
WILL THE RESPONSIBILITY ever not just "rest?" By resting, it will likely go to sleep. It will just rest. It will put its feet up. It will get comfortable.

But, now that he brought up the word, "responsibility," how will he be responsible? What price will he pay? As a kid, when I broke windows (always via hitting a home run out my backyard and through a neighbor's window), I took responsibility. I had to pay for the window. It meant working to earn money and mowing more lawns.
I really want to hear what he will do to take responsibility. I expect that he will do nothing and that this was simply one of those cliches one says at a time like this. It was Bush being polite, but trite, empty and dishonest.

THERE ARE WORDS THAT GEORGE BUSH SHOULD HAVE USED tonight but did not. Here are some of the words that George Bush did not say:
________________________________________________________________________________________
CIVIL war
________________________________________________________________________________________
SORRY or SORROW
________________________________________________________________________________________
APOLOGIZE
________________________________________________________________________________________
REGRET
________________________________________________________________________________________
PAIN (as in pain I have caused)
________________________________________________________________________________________
WOUNDED (doesn't he care about the wounded - the innocent Iraqis who did not ask the U. S. to bomb their country, or our soldiers?)
________________________________________________________________________________________
SYMPATHY, sympathize
________________________________________________________________________________________
EMPATHY
________________________________________________________________________________________
HOPE
________________________________________________________________________________________
WRONG (as in, "I was wrong.") I know I've said that a few times this month, and thousands of times in my past.
________________________________________________________________________________________
CONTRITE (contrition)
________________________________________________________________________________________
EVIL !?!?!??!? As much as he has used that powerful word of judgment and damnation, he really has overplayed his card now.
________________________________________________________________________________________
AND, a word that Bush and Fox TV have used frequently and is far worse than simply, EVIL, is.......
LIBERAL
George Bush has failed so badly and there are no Democrats to blame right now.
Sadll for The Decider, he did not get to use EVIL or LIBERAL tonight. But Fox TV will be able to put a great spin on this uplifting speech. They will likely blame the LIBERAL MEDIA if everyone is not on board with Bush's new tragic reckless surge and splurge.
________________________________________________________________________________________
To paraphrase Ronald Reagan.....
I own that hot tub. I paid for that hot tub. Give me that hot tub!
Back to my Waterworld. Not Second Life, not my hot female avatar, just my male-self in my hot tub. I'll crank up the LIBERAL MEDIA and listen to how others are viewing this mess.
Ah, but one final serious thought:
________________________________________________________________________________________
BUSH said:
"Iran is providing material support for attacks on American troops. We will disrupt the attacks on our forces. We will interrupt the flow of support from Iran and Syria. And we will seek out and destroy the networks providing advanced weaponry and training to our enemies in Iraq."
BUSH REALLY DOES WANT TO WAR SOME MORE. The Axis Of Evil consised of three countries - Iraq, Iran and North Korea. Iraq is over. We lost. Bush knows he can't war with the neighbor of our our favorite Commuist dictatorship, Nort Korea? China won't stand for that and we'll always accomodate China'
It seems obvious to me, from those four sentences, that he is likely to start a war with Iran.
